My Wide-On for Chloe Sevigny

to keep things short and sweet, i think she's pretty fucking great. chloe easily is one of the most consistently stylish celebrities out there.

her style blends bold patterns and vintage silhouettes in a cohesive yet sloppy way. she looks put together and casual, which is not an easy feat. i also love that she sticks with a simple colour palette, working mostly with black and white, or pastels.

i only recently stumbled upon her collection/collaboration with Opening Ceremony which for me is a really strong unisex line. i cannot get over how great the black and white flannel shirt is.

i love it paired with high waisted trousers and a vibrant bomber jacket. for me i'd pair it with a black pencil skirt, some black oxfords and white opaque tights.

mandatory whiny first post

i love clothes, a lot, and sometimes i even love to wear them. however, i find it really hard to find really great ladies fashion blogs. i know they exist, and in the process of collecting ideas and inspiration for my own i found a lot of incredible ones. i don't think that fashion blogs need to only focus on what the big houses are doing, because for the most part, those clothes are fucking boring. i mean alexander mcqueen is brilliant but who actually wears that stuff?

fashion for me is about clothes that are wearable and styles that are classic. a lot of my inspiration is from men's blogs because men's fashion relies on good design. there is no reason women cannot look for the same clean looks. so here is a lil nook for me to post clothes, shoes (especially shoes), books, music and design work that i really love. so read on if you like.
